We entered the approach to Stockholm
from the Baltic around 3am this morning and wound our way through the
narrow passages between the many islands and eventually docked at
about 8am. We caught a shuttle bus into the city center and spent a
pleasant few hours wandering the old part of the city. We really
enjoyed this and would certainly return to Stockholm, given the
opportunity.

The return journey to the Baltic Sea,
at a more appropriate time of day, gave us the opportunity to see the
magnificent scenery of Sweden. It reminded us of the 1000 Islands of
the St. Lawrence, but on a much larger scale.

I'm up for another visit as I think Stockholm is a great place. Any ideas when?
