Day 2 at sea and we awoke to views of
the Danish coast on our starboard side. The route today took us
eventually all the way to Copenhagen before we entered the Baltic Sea
proper and turned north towards Stockholm. This gave us a few photo
opportunities;

We took in a movie in the afternoon,
Quartet, which we thoroughly enjoyed. While we enjoying afternoon tea
the Captain reported that there would be a medical evacuation by
helicopter for two sick people. The Lido pool deck was cleared and we
were asked to stay off all outdoor decks and balconies for the
duration of the evacuation. The helicopter arrived and successfully
airlifted the sick vacationers. After dinner we took in a show in the
theatre which featured a comedy pianist by the name of Kev Orkian, it
was really funny!
Coming back from the show we saw that
the Royal baby had been born so we all retired to our balcony bar and
toasted the new prince, 3rd in line for the throne. At one
time there were six women in my cabin! The men were on the balcony,
hardy souls that we are!
