Oli had warned us that St. Peter's Hall was very difficult to find so left in good time to get there; also I wanted to make sure that as the “official videographer” for the wedding that I was all set to go with memory cards and extra batteries that would be waiting for me at the venue. As it turned out we found St. Peter's Hall easily and had LOTS of time before the wedding for photos and chat!
St. Peter's Hall has parts of its structure that date from 1280; the main construction of the hall was from 1538 to 1539 and uses 14th and 15th century ecclesiastical Gothic material salvaged from the nearby Augustine Nunnery at Flixton which had been abandoned during the dissolution of the Monasteries under Henry The Eighth. Best of all though is that grounds of the Hall are the site of a modern micro brewery! After the wedding we were able to sample many of their fine award winning beers!
The wedding went off without a hitch, other than that once the string quartet kicked off the wedding march to signal Sarah's entry, nobody bothered to tell Sarah! So the front end of the video has about 5 minutes of wedding march! You could see that Oli was getting a little concerned and finally dispatched his best man to find out what was going on. Sarah promptly appeared and before you knew it Sarah and Oli were man and wife!
The venue was perfect for taking photos and if you click on the photo below that will connect you to my album on Picasa; go ahead, I dare you!

| Sarah & Oli's Wedding |
We finally left St. Peter's Hall at 10:30pm and Matt and Kelly said, “that's the longest wedding we have ever been to!” Thankfully it was just a short drive back to the hotel and Scole and I'm sure that everyone slept well that night! Tomorrow we set of to explore Suffolk.
