Today was the day Malcolm and I had decided we would try and cycle the length of Nation Cycle Route 21 from Redhill to Greenwich! I set off from Reigate at about 11:15am to meet up with Malcolm outside of Redhill Station; Here I am ready to go;

We met up at the Toby Carvery and Pub at 11:30 am and decided that we would save our drinking until later and then set off;

This is how I looked after an hour on the ride!

Once we got into the London suburbs we got really lost as the signposting of the route left a lot to be desired; fortunately after cycling about 26 miles in 4 hours, with lots of ups and downs in between, we stumbled across Norwood Junction station at 3:30pm and took that as a sign from above! We caught the train back to Merstham and then met everyone for a well deserved drink at the Inn on the Pond. You can see all the pictures from the ride by clicking on the photo below:
