Kailua-Kona

Sunday April 10, 2016; Kailua-Kona, HI

The first tenders left the ship at around 7:40am this morning, but we delayed our departure until 10:30am to avoid the rush. There’s not a great deal to see or do here, but we managed to spend almost 4 hours wandering around! We did find a street market where Jilly bought some flowery hair pins and a fan to keep us cool as we head to the tropics! We also spent time in a great art gallery, if only we had lots of money and wallspace!

Overall, we have enjoyed our time on Oahu and Hawai’i, but we think that given a choice between the Caribbean and Hawai’i we’d choose a Caribbean Island, they are closer and have great beaches!
