Tuesday we drove from Fishkill NY to Bruce and Nancy's, but stopped off in Glastonbury, CT for lunch. This was our route;

We arrived at Bruce and Nancy's at 2pm and the decided to visit the Nathan Hale homestead. Nathan Hale was a spy for the Americans during the Revolutionary War and whilst on a spying mission in Manhattan was captured by the British and hanged!

Unfortunately, the museum was closed and though I got to take a couple of photos before too long a thunderstorm rolled in and we had to beat a hasty retreat.
