Thursday - Shopping, Exercise and a Project

Thursday was a quiet day. We did fill the car with gas/petrol and paid $80!!!!! We went shopping for some makeup for Beryl and had a great time choosing different shades for her lipstick and nail varnish; I did point out to the lady behind the counter that they were not for me, but I'm not sure that she believed me!

Later on we all over to Vala & Malcolm's to wish Oli a safe trip back to Suffolk and for me to collect the bike and ride it back to Reigate; I now have NO excuse for not exercising while we are in Reigate! Though, I must say that I am surprised how many hills there are around here, guess you don't notice them in a car! I also collected the parts of a guitar that Martin had taken to pieces and I've promised to put it back together before we leave; so I now also have a project.

Just before we went to bed we got a text from Matt saying that he and Kelly were just getting on the plane in Raleigh; we will be getting up at 6am tomorrow to collect them from Heathrow.
