Bike Ride

Tuesday we said farewell to Gavin at 7:30am as he set off to return his vehicle to Calais; then back to bed for some extra z's.

In the afternoon Malcolm and I went for a bike ride up the North Downs; I'll admit that I had to get off the bike a couple of times to walk up some of the steep hills; out of practice with hills; tough to find at the beach. This was the view from where we reached;

Back at Malcolm and Vala's we enjoyed a nice meal of lamb, chicken and sausage, done on the BBQ. Sarah and Oli came home from work and I now have the video camera to practice with before the wedding! Sarah was making final touches to the place settings for the wedding reception and found that Jilly had 2!

An early night now as we are off to London tomorrow to visit the Hayward Gallery and have dinner with Ben & Charlie.
